Your data stays yours
The information and data you provide remain yours. We use them only for the work we have agreed to do, as described in the project agreement.
We keep the information we need for that work and do not use it for unrelated purposes or disclose it to other clients.
Who can access it
We limit access to the people and systems that need it for the project. Where it fits the work, systems we build can use role-based permissions, restricted access and audit trails.
Please provide access through authorised accounts and let us know when it is no longer needed or a project contact changes. We can record any specific access or security requirements in the project agreement.
Keeping project information private
We treat non-public business, operational and technical information as confidential. We use it to deliver or support the agreed work, and share it within our team only with people who need it for that work.
If your project needs additional confidentiality commitments, a restricted environment or other safeguards, we will agree those details before you provide the relevant information or access.
Choosing tools for the work
We choose tools to suit the project and consider where information will go. If a solution involves an external platform, cloud service or AI provider, we will explain its role and the relevant data flow as part of the design.
We will discuss any proposed use of client information with an external AI service for a new purpose and agree the project arrangements before using it that way.
Other service providers
A project may rely on providers for hosting, communication, analytics or other agreed services. We use them for those purposes; their own privacy, security and service terms apply as well.
When the work ends
The project agreement sets out what happens to access, working files and deliverables when the work ends. We follow those arrangements and keep records only where needed for support, our business records or legal requirements.
